Have a good idea of what you want your trunk to look like at the end of your restoration project.

The three R's are a good rule...

1. REMOVE

   Remove everything: Hardware, Slats & Banding

1. RESURFACE

   After removing all the dirt and rust, cover everything with new material, new paint or poly seal

1. REPLACE

   Replace missing leather and other parts. Put everything back on the trunk, making sure it is exactly where it was originally
